We are a Mother/Daughter team that both live and work in the fast-growing area known as York Region, on the northern edge of the City of Toronto. This area was, and continues to be, one of the fastest growing areas in Southern Ontario for both housing and industry. It is made up of multiple very diverse towns: Newmarket, Aurora, Richmond Hill, Whitchurch-Stouffville, King, Vaughan, East Gwillimbury, Keswick, Sutton, Holland Landing, and Sharon are just a few of the towns that make up York Region. This fabulous area stretches across the Oak Ridges Moraine, which is the north/south watershed between Toronto and the Barrie area around Lake Simcoe. As part of this watershed, it features plenty of green space, walking trails, creeks, rivers, and conservation areas. Most towns in York Region are dotted throughout fertile, productive farmlands, yet still just minutes from Toronto, making it a wonderful place to raise families. With a cottage in the Muskoka/Haliburton area near Pineridge Gravenhurst, we are very diversified—one of us in cottage country, the other in York Region. As more and more buyers look north to own a cottage or retire, we provide boots on the ground in both areas, ensuring exposure to both a Toronto and local buyer base. It's a win-win for everyone!

I grew up in Stouffville and now reside in Aurora, always considering York Region my home. Becoming a Realtor in 1987, I've witnessed tremendous changes in the industry over the years. My daughter Tiffany joined me in Real Estate several years ago, bringing a refreshing wave of young, modern ideas. My early interest in Real Estate stemmed from the flexibility it offered as a mother to my son Brandyn, who faced severe medical challenges. Tragically, Brandyn passed away in 2005 during a double lung and heart transplant. The following year, I lost my husband John, which was a devastating blow, compounded by dealing with a fraudulent business partner who thought my situation made me an easy target. However, I fiercely advocate for what I believe is right, and I took on that fraud case single-handedly. I learned more than I ever wanted about the law and the importance of attention to detail, but truth ultimately prevailed, even after a decade of struggle. My passion for helping clients achieve their Real Estate dreams has never wavered. I have a deep sense of adventure and believe in lifelong learning, whether it involves new technology, skills, or fun activities. In 2009, I learned to scuba dive and developed a love for the ocean. I also learned to fly in 2008, as my new partner owned a Lake Amphibian airplane, and it was essential to know how to handle emergencies. I've been fortunate to spend winters in the Caribbean aboard our sailboat 'Ocean Wings' until hurricane Irma sadly destroyed her in 2017. Now, we have a motorhome that we enjoy taking on adventures with the grandkids. My summers are spent shuttling between our cottage in Haliburton, where I tend to my veggie garden and enjoy boating on the lake, and I actively promote the cottage lifestyle along with my home in Aurora. Life has its ups and downs, and our attitude largely determines how we emerge from challenging times. I cherish my real estate family and genuinely love helping clients turn their dreams into reality through honesty, ethical practices, integrity, hard work, and communication, all while making the journey enjoyable. Additionally, I have a fondness for Pineridge in Gravenhurst, where I often find peace and inspiration for my work.

Tiffany has been selling properties in York Region '1 Yard at a Time' for over 4 years, building on her 20-plus years of experience as a Corporate Executive with HBC, Target, and Nike. In these roles, she honed her financial and negotiation skills while managing large budgets on a multi-country platform, negotiating pricing, quality, and delivery through multi-national corporations as a senior buyer/merchandiser. Her extensive buyer background gives her an excellent eye for colours, flow, and market trends. This, along with her youthful perspective, allows her to provide timely advice to clients about trends appealing to millennial buyers in the market. Tiffany and her husband are now raising their family—a daughter and a son—in East Gwillimbury, and she looks forward to helping others make York Region, including areas like Pineridge Gravenhurst, their forever home.
