Georgina is a picturesque town located in south-central Ontario and serves as the northernmost municipality in the Regional Municipality of York. Bordered to the north by the beautiful Lake Simcoe, Georgina has a unique charm. Although it is incorporated as a town, it functions more like a township where various dispersed communities are governed by a shared administrative council. The town of Georgina, with its proximity to the Eastern shores of Lake Simcoe, has long been a favored cottage destination, particularly before modern transportation made it easier to travel further from the city. Many of the older properties, once used as cottages, are situated close to the lake, often lacking basements due to the high water table. This Nature-Reserve-Class Park, located at the southeast shore of Lake Simcoe within a flat 220 meter closed contour, is a sanctuary for rare plants and a diverse array of birds. The area features an extensive offshore sandbar. As a non-operating park, it does not offer visitor facilities or activities, and camping is not permitted. The landscape lacks significant high ground, with a small road branching off the south side of Hwy #48 heading north toward the lake, navigating over the High Point along the way.

We are a dedicated Mother/Daughter team residing and working in the rapidly growing area known as York Region, located on the northern edge of the City of Toronto. I grew up in Stouffville and now reside in Aurora, always considering York Region my home. After becoming a Realtor in 1987, I've witnessed numerous changes in the real estate industry. This was further complicated by a fraudulent business partner who thought my status as a widow made me an easy target. However, I fought hard for what I believed in and took on that fraud case single-handedly. I learned more about the law than I ever wanted to, realizing how crucial it is to cross your i's and dot your t's, along with the importance of a detailed and persistent work ethic. Ultimately, truth prevails, even if it took a decade to prove. Despite these challenges, my passion for helping clients achieve their real estate dreams has remained strong. I have a deep sense of adventure and believe that learning is a lifelong journey, whether it's mastering new technology, acquiring new skills, or enjoying a fun sport. I learned to scuba dive in 2009 and have a love for the ocean. In 2008, I took the opportunity to learn how to fly, as my new partner owned a Lake Amphibian airplane, and it was wise to know how to land it in an emergency. I’ve been fortunate to spend part of some winters in the Caribbean aboard our sailboat, 'Ocean Wings,' until Hurricane Irma tragically destroyed her in 2017. Now, we enjoy exploring in our motorhome with the grandkids. My summers are spent between our cottage in Haliburton, tending to my vegetable garden, and enjoying boating on the lake, where I happily promote the cottage lifestyle and manage my business in Aurora. Life presents everyone with ups and downs, and how we navigate them largely depends on our attitude. I cherish my real estate family and genuinely love helping my clients turn their dreams into reality through honesty, ethical practices, integrity, hard work, communication, and making this journey enjoyable.
